TRIZ community to meet at PESTA TRIZ 2014

The MyTRIZ sharing platform is taking a unique approach this year. The annual gathering of the TRIZ community will be a multi-event approach in 2014 – a conference, workshop, competition finals and community project over 4 days. This new chapter is named as PESTA TRIZ. The event will feature 10 renowned international and local speakers who will share their learnings on solving inventive problems and ways to implement sustainable solutions.The PESTA TRIZ is scheduled from 11-14 November 2014 hosted by Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Northern Region Office at Kepala Batas, Penang. Teachers hold a special place in our hearts. They are the ones who make learning a wonderful experience. It is not often that we thank these wonderful people who have helped to shape and build us into the person we are today. The 2014 National Teacher’s Day was celebrated on 16th May. As part of the celebration, the Ministry of Education (MOE) teamed up with MyTRIZ and ENE to put up a three-day exhibition at the Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur, to display how, in classes across the country, teachers bring knowledge to the generations of students each day.

Prism of Possibilities with TRIZ ... MyTRIZ Competition 2014

MyTRIZ launched the 3rd MyTRIZ Competition 2014 with the theme "Prism of Possibilities with TRIZ". This regional competition is set from mid-May to mid-November 2014. It is open to all university students and lecturers from Malaysia and Asia regions. A total prize money of RM 71,000 or USD $22,000 awaits the winners.

Curiosity killed the cat, but passion brought it back alive!

As the old saying goes - curiosity killed the cat. While it may have affected many cats, it is the basis of education. The best approach to learning remains to be to trigger the curious minds of the children and allow them the opportunity to explore the subject matter. Three participants shared their motivation to conduct the School for Creative Thinkers workshop for their colleagues' children.
